Our go to Mexican restaurant. We live in Lexington by the DMV and make a special trip to eat here. We always have great service. Ask for Jamie! The food is always hot and delicious! The restaurant is always clean.

Coming from Southern California, ONE of the things we appreciated is the authentic Mexican food. Moving here we feared we would struggle finding places like the ones we loved...El Poblano has been a fave for us. We enjoy the atmosphere, the food, the michilada's & the margs! As. Fan of Mexican restaurants, I'd say this one is middle of the road. Nothing so hot as too scare folks, the dishes are plentiful and reasonably priced. It's a big place so waiting isn't so bad. The table side made to order guacamole was excellent. Everyone took leftovers home. Be adventurous with this menu, the dishes are conservative on the heat and tasty.
